FX-01 CONTROL PLATFORM HAS TOUCHED DOWN HERE AT GAME TECH INNOVATIONS

The first control platform from Game Tech Innovations is ready to go into production, This is the FX-01 fixed frame control platform with a faux leather covering in black, this makes you feel like your in total control and is extremely comfortable giving you the edge on your opponents, be it racing, flying, or shooting. Play to win by having the right tools for the job.

The solid frame has been matched with a black leatherette effect powder coat paint finish which is very tough it makes a perfect match together with the  faux leather covering  the control platform, The unit is built from being flat packed in its box and will fit together with 8 bolts and 40 screws to hold on the control platforms and can be assembled in under 10 minutes with a power screw driver.

The frame is made out of 1.6mm mild steel tube all welded by hand, this control platform will last you a life time. It's well built so you know you have quality and piece of mind that it won't cause you the functional and practical problems you might find with other desks.

In future editions it will be fully adjustable so the control platforms can better suit the users comfort and will include a pull out keyboard tray.

Product Care

The platforms can be vinyl wrapped or have a faux vinyl leatherette  covering and will need to be looked after by not putting sharp or abrasive objects directly on top of the platform surface or mistreating our products in any way as this will mark or tear the covering. It can also be damaged by having drinks put on the surface, this will mark it. The faux leather is easy wipe down for cleaning and the same for the carbon fiber wrap if looked after correctly it will last a life time

As we hand craft our control platforms from the welding, to the coverings, to the powder coat paint. Once ordered your control platform will take up to four weeks to be made once made will be shipped, the same day and you will receive a tracking number and time for delivery to your email address.

Hi all think its near time we started to blog whats going on with the control platforms.

Step 1
I made a 3d model of what I required for this build all to scale from the idea in my head
Step 2
Measure and mark the sheet of mdf to size and shape of design.

 Step 4

Time for the faux leatheret covering to be applied with a covering on the bottom to make it look and feel nice, remember we are to offer many coverings from the leather to carbon fibre.

Great job Mark cox looks the business hand crafted quality finish. 

Step 5

Welding time Paul has started the frame and I must say looks the dogs, once finished now he has more metal after our change of design to allow for flat packing we can complete the first frame.

 Control platform arms look and feel solid may change the design from 8mm round to laser cut ones with cut out holes to match light weight aircraft frames

 Time to decide choice one top tube cuts in and bolts on from the back cheap and easy to do but not as pleasing to the eye, or bottom fitting clean weld tube in tube fitting with bolt or allen key cost more but looks better

 Time to see if the welding fits my template for the control platform, and yes it does Paul I never had any worries honest.

                                       

Step 6

Time for the first paint options to be choose now we have our samples in from CY metals in Newbury cheers Peter Hunt now we can offer full wet and powder coat with many different paint colours and finishes .
